Our Team

Lana Kopanja is the General Manager at London Medical and has been with the company for 8 years.  She has two degrees, one in Electronic Engineering and the other in Applied Accounting.  Lana is also a member of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).  Lana manages and co-ordinates all activity within London Medical including finance, human resources and administration.

Jeannie Tomeu is the new Senior Clinical Coordinator and has recently completed an MSc in International Health Management. She has several years experience in US and UK healthcare administration and previously worked in a Harvard Medical School hospital in Boston.

Jiamei started working for London Medical as the Finance Assistant in February 2005. She received her ACCA professional membership in February 2008 and aims to become a qualified Chartered Accountant. She enjoys working with patients and providing the best care to meet the patients’ every need.

Aisha joined London Medical in February of 2005 as a clinic Administrator. As the clinic has expanded so too have her duties within the clinic. As well as working on reception and assisting finance, she has now taken on a HR role and is studying towards a degree in Human Resource Management.

Debbie joined London Medical as a Medical Secretary in 2005 following over fifteen years experience in the private health care industry. At London Medical, Debbie is responsible for coordinating Dr Abraham’s patients and ensuring the smooth running of his daily clinic. Debbie is a member of AMSPAR.

Yan joined London Medical in August 2008 and provides administrative support across all departments of the clinic. She has 2 degrees, an MSc in Decision Sciences and a BSc in Industrial Foreign Trade. In addition she has extensive experience in business management within a major pharmaceutical company.

Lavinia joined London Medical as a Clinic Secretary/Receptionist in January 2005. She is responsible for reception, general administration, patient and consultant queries and all other secretarial duties. As a database expert, Lavinia ensures the accuracy of all the medical records, information, history, and clinician diary.

Hannah has worked at London Medical-London Diabetes for 7 years and participated in the clinics’ growth from a small to large busy successful organisation . She works as a nurse team leader liaising closely with the consultants to ensure a friendly and efficient service is achieved . She is also a  Diabetes Nurse Specialist and has  expertise in advance care including the use of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring.

Kathryn joined london medical in January 2007 as a Staff Nurse with a focus on cardiology and resuscitation. Prior to joining us she worked at a number of intensive care units in London and Brisbane in Australia.

Irena has been working at London Medical since November 2006. She is a nurse specialising in Ophthalmology, focusing on Intravitreous Injections, Biometry, Fundus, Autorefraction, Corneal Topography and Visual Fields. Prior to working at London Medical, Irena worked at the  Western Eye Hospital for four years. She has a BA in Languages and Speech Therapy and speaks fluent Polish, Russian and Arabic.

Tara joined London Medical recently as part of the nursing team. She did her nursing training at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College. Her background is in Community District Nursing and she is currently studying part-time towards BSc (Hons) Nursing Practice (In Older People).  

Munir Suleman is London Medical's Superintendent Pharmacist. He started working for the clinic in April 2009 and brings with him a wealth of experience having worked in pharmacy management over the last 15 years. He graduated from the London School of Pharmacy in 1990 and had worked with Boots the Chemists in various management positions. He left to start building his own health and nutrition business and advanced onto pharmacy ownership, which he sold in 2008. Since being at London Medical, Munir has reviewed the pharmacy's procedures, and has developed them in line with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, which now regulates the pharmacy. Munir ensures that London Medical's pharmacy adheres to a high standard of service and clinical governance.

Erlinda is involved in weighing patients, checking blood glucose, blood pressure measurements and testing urine before appointments. Behind the scenes, she keeps the files in order.
