Dr Julian Halcox is a Consultant Cardiologist at University College London Hospitals and Senior Lecturer in Cardiology at University College London. He practices as a general cardiologist specialising in the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease. Dr. Halcox is an expert in the management of high blood pressure, cholesterol disorders and the assessment and treatment of people with a family history of heart attack and other vascular disease. He combines his clinical work with a productive program of research into mechanisms responsible for the development of coronary artery disease.

Dr Walker is a Consultant Cardiologist to the University College Hospital, Honorary Consultant Cardiologist to King Edward VII's Hospital and to St Luke's Hospital for the Clergy, Clinical Director to the Hatter Institute of Cardiovascular Research, University College London and University of Cape Town, Republic of South Africa, and President of  the British Association for Cardiac Rehabilitation. His clinical interests within cardiology span from angioplasty intervention in coronary heart disease to the development of a successful exercise based cardiac rehabilitation program. Dr Walker also has an interest within heart muscle disease associated with iron overload.

Sir Magdi Yacoub is British Heart Foundation Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Imperial College London.  He is founder and Director of Research at the Harefield Heart Science Centre (National Heart & Lung Institute), and former Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust.  Specialist interest in complex aortic root surgery.
